Depths
Depths is a vertical field. Instead of digging outward from the centre, the fleet starts at the top and works down through eight stacked floors, each one bigger and harder than the last.
Uncover the whole picture on a floor and the floor below it opens. Clear all eight levels to reach the bottom and finish the chapter. Depths has 72 chapters, and from chapter 13 each one buries its own themed set of pictures.
A one-time purchase that includes every chapter, now and later. Also included in All Worlds.
How it plays
- Use your balls to break blocks and dig down through the map.
- Uncover the whole picture on each level to open the floor below it.
- Clear all eight levels to reach the bottom and finish the chapter.
Tips for this world
- Plumb always falls toward the middle and comes home by itself, which suits a deep shaft.
- Lance crosses open ground on one straight pass, so it reaches rock far below without wasting effort on the way down.
- Spend on Cell damage early. Every floor is harder than the one above it.
