Real gameplay from this world.

Bloom & Rot

Bloom & Rot is a territory war. Wherever your balls dig, the ground they leave behind turns green. Meanwhile rot spreads over the solid rock on its own, and rock that rot holds gets tougher, up to three times its normal health.

Turn enough of each ring green to open the next one. Complete all eight to finish the chapter. Keep hitting the rot: every strike wears it down.

A one-time purchase that includes every chapter, now and later. Also included in All Worlds.

How it plays

  1. Your goal is to turn the ground green, one area at a time.
  2. Your balls leave green trails. Brown patches make rock tougher over time, up to three times its normal health. Keep hitting them.
  3. Turn enough of each area green to open the next. Complete all eight areas to finish the chapter.

Tips for this world

  • Do not let rot sit. The longer it holds a patch, the harder that patch gets.
  • Bloom opens a soft crater wherever it lands, which turns a lot of ground green at once.
  • Patient makes dense rock count four times softer, which is exactly what rot-hardened rock is.

Questions

Can the rot win?

Rot makes rock tougher but it is capped, so every cell stays diggable. The question is how fast you take the ground back.
